Seamus Feehily has been in the funeral business for the past 30
years having started at the tender age of nine, under the guidance of
both his mum and dad the late Jim Feehily, the invaluable knowledge
and experience he gained from them both over the years has given him
the attributes necessary to be the professional undertaker he is
today.
The role of the undertaker has changed over the years with Seamus
experiencing both the "traditional Irish funeral" where the funeral
director gets involved in both the organization and the "wake" and the
alternative modern approach.
Seamus subsequently studied through Belfast for his embalming exams
and qualified in 1999, thus ensuring that that he can offer a first
class service in the preparation and presentation of the deceased.
In 2004 Seamus decided to branch out on his own as a funeral director
specializing in home removals and removals from various nursing homes.
He is currently
sourcing a green field site to build his own funeral home and is
determined to offer the most professional and personal service at a
time when it is of utmost importance.
As a coffin wholesaler he holds a very large coffin and casket stock
where there are prices and choices are available to suit all
individuals . See:
Coffins/Caskets
At such a difficult time for families Seamus wants to offer a complete
service where along with making the funeral arrangements , he can also
organize the floral
Tributes, catering and subsequently the headstone.
Seamus is married to Mary Henry from
Property
Team Henry, they have
two children Erin and Eamonn and are currently living in the
Strandhill Road area.
"My personal aim is to follow in the footsteps of my late father in
terms of service ,integrity and professionalism".
